About The Founder
Gordon C.C. Liao
A native of Chicago, Gordon has spent over 20 years as an Investor, Operator and Entrepreneur in Private Equity & Venture Capital, first with Wind Point Partners, Reliant Equity Investors, and Baird Capital, and then as founder or co-founder of Promise Holdings and affiliate firms Modjule, and 4C Capital. Collectively, Gordon co-owns over 16 companies including Hickory Farms, AKIRA and several others. Gordon also serves as CFO of AKIRA, and Chairman of Chicago Switchboard. Gordon received his Bachelors degree from the University of Illinois, and his MBA from the Harvard Business School, where he was a Toigo Fellow.
